OR Supervisor / Operating Room RN

📍 Facility: GCMC, KS
🕐 Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
🔄 Alternative: 4×10-hour shifts may be available
📞 Call: 10–14 days/month, OB C-section call only
⏱️ Callback: 30 minutes
💻 EMR: CPSI-Evident; OB uses PeriGen
 

Job Details

• Supervise daily OR operations, surgical schedules, room turnover, and patient flow
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Work with surgeons, anesthesia, and pre/post-op teams
• May provide direct patient care
• Assist with pain management/HPM and specialty clinics
• Must be able to assist with OB C-sections
• Central sterile experience is helpful
• Strong Critical Access Hospital (CAH) background required

Requirements

• RN with BSN or related healthcare degree
• 3–5 years OR experience
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS & PALS – AHA required at submission
• Kansas or Multistate RN license required
• Strong surgical/OR leadership and sterile-processing knowledge
