Description

Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Schedule: Typically 7 days on / 7 days off
- One week: 36 hours
- Next week: 48 hours
Flexibility: Must be willing to work other shifts/mid-shifts if staffing needs change.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent ED RN experience; additional experience may be required in some cases.
Certifications required:
- BLS/BCLS – American Heart Association
- ACLS – American Heart Association
- PALS or ENPC
- TNCC
- Conscious Sedation certification – obtained through the facility after confirmation; $105 fee
Holiday coverage: Required
Floating: Travelers may be required to float to other departments where they are qualified and competent.
ED areas: 11-bed Main ED, 6-bed Fast Track, and 7-bed Observation Unit.
Additional assignments: Triage, Quick Registration, COVID tent, entry screening, testing/immunization clinics, etc.
RTO: Maximum of 1 week of requested time off (RTO), if needed.

Minimum Years of Experience

2 years recent RN experience in Emergency Department nursing.
