Description
Emergency Room RN — Travel Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
- Call: None required
- Weekends: Rotating
- Openings: 3
Unit: Emergency Department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast-track rooms, and 5 behavioral-health rooms. Ratios are 1:4 in the ED, 1:5 in behavioral health, and 1:3 for cardiac/trauma patients.
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS
Preferred: MEDITECH experience, trauma experience, inpatient holding experience, and CPI
Common procedures: Splinting, EKGs, central monitoring and lines, trauma assists, airway support, behavioral-health de-escalation, Morgan lens use, rapid infusers, and resuscitation.
Equipment and charting: Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers; MEDITECH EMR.
