Position Summary

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing services in a K-12 school-based setting. The SLP will work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans, establish measurable goals, and support student progress.
 

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive student screenings and evaluations based on IEP requirements.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs based on student needs and goals.
• Provide speech therapy services to improve students' communication, cognitive, and swallowing-related functioning as applicable.
• Establish measurable and attainable goals and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive services.
• Consult with team members regarding treatment goals and interventions.
• Complete all required clinical documentation and billing documentation.
• Participate in discharge planning, family meetings, evaluations, and family education as appropriate.
• Provide direction and supervision to Speech Therapy Assistants, Clinical Fellows (CFYs), and interns/students as permitted by applicable regulations.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized treatment environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current, active state license to practice.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship (CFY) strongly preferred.
