Overview

• Role: Travel Med Surg/Tele RN
• Location: Statesboro, Georgia
• Employment type: Travel
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 6:45a-7:15p
• Schedule notes: Every other weekend required; holidays required; floating required
• Unit: 35-bed Med Surg/Tele unit
• Float scope: Between Med Surg and Tele departments only

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 or more completed travel assignments
• BLS
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Experience with Cerner

Preferred / Relevant Experience

• Recent Cerner charting experience

Clinical Details

• Med Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
• Unit services include Med Surg, Remote Tele, Ortho, Post-op, CHF, and Respiratory
• Patient ratio: 1:6-7
• PCT ratio: 14 patients

• Schedule will vary based on unit need
• Blocked scheduling is not approved
• 48-hour weekly guarantees are not approved
• Scrub color: navy blue
