Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to support an in-store/community vaccination initiative. The selected nurses will provide safe and efficient immunization services while delivering compassionate, professional patient care.

The RN will administer a range of commonly recommended vaccines, including influenza, COVID-19, MMR, and other applicable immunizations, while following appropriate clinical and safety protocols. PPE will be provided.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Administer vaccines safely and efficiently according to established clinical protocols.
• Provide immunizations including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other applicable vaccines.
• Assess patients prior to vaccination and identify relevant clinical considerations.
• Administer medications and provide appropriate nursing care.
• Educate patients regarding vaccinations, procedures, and applicable after-care instructions.
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to potential reactions or concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient and vaccination documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, PPE, and workplace safety requirements.
• Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
• Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all patient interactions.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes.
• Adapt to changing patient volumes, schedules, and community healthcare needs.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused environment.

Required Qualifications

• Active, full, and unrestricted RN license in the state where services are performed.
• Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience.
• Experience providing quality patient care.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability and willingness to administer vaccinations.
• BLS certification.
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
• Must not be listed on applicable excluded-party databases.
• Must be flexible with work hours and able to work the required schedule.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Previous immunization/vaccination experience.
• Medication administration experience.
• Strong patient education and communication skills.
• Experience in a retail, community, outpatient, or high-volume healthcare setting.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule

Sunday–Saturday | 10:00 AM–7:30 PM

Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and available to work within the required operating hours.
