Description
Cardiac Sonographer – Morristown, NJ
Location: Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Requirements:
- Experienced Adult Echo Sonographer with strong inpatient echocardiography experience.
- Must have TAVR/TTE experience, specifically scanning patients with severe to critical aortic stenosis who are being evaluated for TAVR.
- Minimum 200 documented inpatient echo cases.
- Strong skills in valvular assessment, spectral Doppler, and Pedoff.
- Experience with contrast echo and agitated saline studies.
- TEE, Stress Echo, 3D Echo, MitraClip, HCM, VAD, and closure-device experience preferred.
- Experience with Philips iE33/Epiq and Epic preferred.
- Ability to work independently and recognize/respond to critical findings.
Certifications:
- ARDMS or CCI – Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- BLS – AHA required
Important: TAVR experience is mandatory. Candidates must clearly document their experience scanning severe/critical aortic stenosis patients preparing for TAVR on both their resume and submission cover sheet under “Previous Relevant Experience.” Candidates without this experience will be rejected.
