Description
Location: San Diego, CA 92103
Salary: $100,000–$115,000/year + Sign-On Bonus + Benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasional evenings/weekends may be required)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy using CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches.
- Treat mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
- Assess and manage crisis situations, including suicidal ideation and behaviors.
- Collaborate with Psychiatry, medical, nursing, and behavioral health teams.
- Manage documentation, treatment plans, referrals, and case management.
- Maintain timely EHR documentation; current system is RPMS, transitioning to eClinicalWorks (ECW).
- Build a caseload of approximately 8 sessions per day, with dedicated administrative/crisis time.
Requirements
- Active California LCSW license and Current BLS (AHA)
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- FQHC, Community Health Center, or Indian Health Clinic experience
- Experience working with multicultural/multinational populations
- eClinicalWorks (ECW) experience
