Position Details

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)
• Shift: Days | 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM
• Schedule: 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
• On-Call: Required – One week of call per month
• Weekend Requirement: As required during scheduled call rotation
• Float Requirement: May float to Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Charting System: Meditech, MERGE
• Patient Population: Adult Cardiac & Vascular Patients

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License
• 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Ability to take on-call assignmentsResponsibilities:
• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for Cath Lab patients.
• Assist physicians during cardiac and vascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases.
• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythm, vital signs, and hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
• Administer medications and moderate sedation as ordered.
• Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment while maintaining a sterile environment.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and assist with advanced cardiac life support interventions.
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech and MERGE.
• Participate in on-call rotation (one week per month).
• Float to Interventional Radiology (IR) as needed.
