Description
(EPIC experience preferred).
ICU nurses are required to set up, manage and interpret the monitors and measure and interpret their own strips.
Shifts & Scheduling: 07-1930 1900-0730.
6 weeks at a time.
Self scheduling, balanced then reviewed by the manager.
First schedule they would be filling holes.
Weekend Requirement: May be working a lot of Sundays.
Weekends are a high need right now.
Holiday Requirement: Rotate with permanent staff.
Is there a call or standby requirement? No.
Floating Requirements: Yes, most often floating between 4th, 5th or 6th floors (critical care) or to the ER for patient holds.

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.
Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
