Job Description:

Position: RN – Acuity Adaptable Unit
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Night Shift
Contract: 13 weeks
 

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Must be comfortable caring for patients across:
  • ICU
  • IMC (Intermediate Care)
  • Med/Surg
• Every other weekend (EOW)
• Every other holiday (EOH)
• Must be willing to float onsite within skill set
• May be required to float to other facility sites within 40 miles, based on staffing needs
• No artificial/acrylic nails
• Natural nails must be kept short (maximum 1/4 inch)
  
  ICU RN – Key Responsibilities
• Provides care to critically ill medical, surgical, and trauma patients.
• Performs continuous monitoring and assessment of vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and respiratory status.
• Recognizes and responds to signs of patient deterioration or distress.
• Provides critical-care nursing interventions and ongoing patient assessment.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborates with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Educates patients and families regarding treatment and care.
• Provides emotional support to patients and their families.
• Documents patient condition, interventions, and response to treatment.
