Description
Wound Care RN – Outpatient Wound & Ostomy (NO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED)
📍 Rhinelander, WI
13-Week Contract | ASAP Start | 36 Guaranteed Hours
Schedule: 4x9 Days
Shift: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin or Compact RN license
- BLS – AHA or ARC
- Minimum 2 years of wound care experience OR wound care certification
- Epic experience required
- Associate Degree in Nursing or qualifying nursing certificate
Preferred Experience
- Wound and ostomy certification
- Extensive wound/ostomy clinic experience
Department
Outpatient procedural wound care department. The NP evaluates active patients at least weekly and develops the plan of care, with RNs carrying out the treatment plan. RNs may also perform inpatient and Emergency Department consultations.
Typical volume is approximately 8–9 patient visits per RN per day, with CNA assistance.
