Schedule

• Current Need: Monday–Friday
• Shift: Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Start Time: Flexible between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM
• End Time: Approximately 4:00 PM–5:00 PM, depending on start time
• Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend shift per month in addition to full-time hours
• Weekend shifts are self-selected
• Facility is open to discussing a later start time

License & Certification Requirements

Required:

• Active New Hampshire Physical Therapy License
• BLS certification

Important: NH PT License must be in hand at the time of submission.

Advanced/Preferred Skill:

• Vestibular experience preferred, but not required

• Hospital: Catholic Medical Center
• Unit: Inpatient Physical Therapy
• Hospital Beds: Approximately 330
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 10 patients per 8-hour day
• Documentation System: Sunrise Allscripts
• Equipment: Basic rehabilitation equipment, portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and Hoyer lifts

Patient Population & Experience

The department provides acute-care physical therapy to a diverse inpatient population.

Candidates should have acute care experience, with the department seeing higher volumes of:

• Cardiac patients
• Vascular patients
• Orthopedic patients

Vestibular experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Floating Requirements

The Physical Therapy department covers:

• All inpatient units
• Emergency Department (ED)

NICU patients are not covered by this department.

Candidates should be comfortable working across different inpatient areas based on department needs.

The department includes:

• Physical Therapists
• Occupational Therapists
• Speech Therapists
• Therapy Director

The team is described as dedicated and collaborative, with extensive experience across multiple clinical settings.

Patient Assignment

• Daily assignments are structured with the goal of keeping each therapist on only 1–2 floors
• Provides exposure to a wide variety of patients and diagnoses
• Offers experience in multiple acute-care settings

• No specific scrub color required
