Description

Specialty: Emergency Department RN
Shift: 12 HR Nights, 7p–7:30a
Hours: 48 hrs/week
Experience: 2+ years ER experience
Traveler Experience: Required; first-time travelers not accepted
Peds: Strong pediatric experience preferred
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS, TNCC
Charting: Epic required
Trauma: Level II experience required
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Department: Combined Adult/Peds ED
Volume: ~160 visits/day, 50 beds
Call: None
Weekends: Every other weekend
Floating: Helping-hands/team nursing; may float to ICU or ED for support
Peds & Adult: Patients across the lifespan
Common Cases: Trauma, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, sepsis, psych, GI/GU/OB and pediatric emergencies
Procedures: Conscious sedation, trauma/stroke alerts, cath lab activation, SANE
Orientation: 36 hours
Scrubs: Any color
Winter Holidays: Must work 2 of 3
Locals: Accepted within 50 miles at a $15 rate reduction
Important: Former employees of any Solution Health facility are not eligible for travel assignments.
