Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care according to established standards.
• Assess patients and monitor their clinical condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Care for patients in the assigned unit, including ER hold/Observation patients when floated.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor and document patient responses and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
• Float to the Observation Unit as required.
• Participate in weekend coverage according to the 3 out of 6 requirement.

Requirements

• Active California RN License – Required
• 1 year of nursing experience – Required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Pending California license not accepted
• Ability to float to the Observation Unit/ER Hold patients
• Ability to meet the 3 out of 6 weekend requirement
• RTO limited to 7 days or less
• Ability to wear personal scrubs with no prints
• Must be available to start ASAP
