Unit: "7 EAST - Trauma & General Surgery Inpatient Unit. Also a Nationally recognized Comprehensive Bariatric Surgery Center
(This unit is Stepdown & Floor)"
# of beds 30- Total Beds (12 Floor, 18 Stepdown)
Ratios 1:6 for Floor patients (medsurg), 1:3 for Stepdown patients
Required Certifications BLS is required
Common diagnoses/Types of patients Multi-trauma, TBI, Fractures, General Surgery (choles, ostomies, etc.); Bariatric Surgery Other typical Med-Surg as needed
