Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The Nurse will work closely with cardiologists, radiology/technologist staff, and the multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for Cath Lab patients.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythm, vital signs, and clinical status.
• Administer medications and moderate sedation as ordered and per facility policy.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Assist with emergency interventions and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and the Cath Lab team to ensure safe patient care.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Participate in call, weekends, or holidays as required by the facility.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the assignment state.
• 2+ years of recent Cath Lab RN experience preferred/required.
• Previous experience with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Strong critical-thinking and emergency-response skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity procedural environment.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Additional certifications such as RCIS, PALS, or CCRN may be required depending on facility.
