Description
Travel Nuclear Medicine Technician | $3360 (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40 hours/week
Job Details:
Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technician
Schedule: 5 days/week 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Dates: October 5, 2026 – January 3, 2026
Department: Nuclear Medicine
Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Orientation Pay: Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during the orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate.
Radius Rule: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify.
Requirements
- Current State Nuclear Medicine License
- ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Minimum 1 year acute/clinical radiology experience
- Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- CT/Fusion Certification required
- Current BLS/BCLS required
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Graduate of a JRCNMT or CAMRT accredited program
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience with PACS and image processing/transmission
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality Nuclear Medicine imaging
- Assist Radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Process and transmit images to PACS
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- RT should have skills comparable to RCIS
