LPN – Medical Surgical / Renal Unit – Miami Valley Hospital

Location: Dayton, OH
Start: 10/19/2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 4x12s — 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Requirements:

1+ year acute-care hospital experience
LPN/LVN
BLS through AHA
IV certification OR proof of IV therapy education/competency
Epic charting experience
Experience with 1:5–6 patient ratios
Med Surg/Tele experience
Telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience
LTAC LPN experience may be accepted
Trauma I experience preferred
Travel experience not required

Unit: Med Surg/Renal — chronic & acute renal failure, diabetes, urology, wound care, and general Med Surg patients. Fast-paced unit with cardiac monitoring.

Important: Traveler must be comfortable floating between Miami Valley Main Campus (Dayton), South Campus (Centerville), and North Campus (Englewood) based on facility needs. Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. Local travelers within 50 miles are not accepted.

Compliance: Lab work and an EKG/dysrhythmia exam must be completed within 72 hours of signing. RTO is limited to 14 days and must be submitted upfront.
