CT Technologist 

Position: CT Technologist
Shift: Nights
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts/week
Rate: $98/hr
Contract: 13 weeks / 91 days
Weekend: 1 weekend per month
Call: Possible

Required Experience

• 2+ years of CT experience – REQUIRED
• Phillips CT experience – REQUIRED
• Traveler experience – preferred, not required

Required Certification

• BLS
• ARRT

Main Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CT equipment
• Position and transfer patients safely
• Perform CT scans according to radiologist protocols
• Administer IV contrast when required
• Monitor patients for allergic reactions
• Maintain image quality
• Perform daily equipment calibration and quality control
• Handle digital image capture, storage, and transfer
• Assist radiologists with specialized procedures
• Review patient history and clinical information
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Assist with emergency situations/CPR
• Train new staff when needed
• Follow Michigan Department of Public Health safety standards

Important Submission Requirements

• 2+ years CT experience
• Phillips CT experience
• BLS + ARRT
• Skills checklist completed within the last year is required
• References NOT required
• Michigan license verification required for nurses, but this is a CT Tech position, so that nursing-specific requirement does not apply.

Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract employment within 6 months of their employment.
