We're seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to join the team at a respected public health and teaching hospital in Jamaica Plain, MA. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population while providing respiratory care across multiple units, including medical-surgical, ventilator, and correctional health settings.

What You'll Do

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies according to physician orders
• Assess and monitor patients experiencing respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Manage oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator support
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document treatments, assessments, and patient progress in Meditech
• Provide respiratory support across multiple patient care units
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and disease management
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and critical patient needs

Requirements

✅ Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy License

✅ CRT or RRT Credential Accepted

✅ Current BLS Certification

✅ Ability to work 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

✅ Must be available for rotating schedules with no block scheduling

✅ Must be willing to work every other weekend and holiday rotation

✅ Must be available to work 2 major holidays during the contract

✅ Experience with sleep studies and/or Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) preferred

✅ Correctional healthcare experience preferred

✅ Current Physical within 1 year

✅ Current TB Test (T-Spot or QuantiFERON Gold within 3 months of start date)

✅ Tdap required

✅ Must meet all facility onboarding requirements
