CT Technologist – Travel Assignment

• Position: CT Technologist
• Facility: Providence Imaging Center
• Shift: Day – 4×10 hours
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Contract: 13 Weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Experience Required: 1 year
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks
• Call-Off: Traveler may be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks

Schedule & Weekend Requirements

• 4×10-hour day shifts
• Monday–Friday
• Occasional Saturdays
• No Sundays
• No regular holidays
• No call required
• Block scheduling not available
• Weekend coverage: Occasional Saturday

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ARRT (R)
• ARRT (CT)
• Fluoroscopy Permit listed under facility requirements

License Requirements

• Compact license must be in hand at submission
• Pending license is not accepted

CT Experience & Skills

At least 1 year of experience is required.

Required/expected CT skills include:

• Abdomen with/without contrast
• Chest with/without contrast
• Head with/without contrast
• Pelvis with/without contrast
• Cervical spine
• Lumbar spine
• Thoracic spine
• Musculoskeletal trauma
• Vascular CTA
• CT arthrography
• Brain perfusion
• Colonography/virtual colonography
• PACS
• Contrast administration
• Starting peripheral IVs
• Venipuncture

X-Ray Experience – REQUIRED

The candidate must have experience with:

• Extremities
• Abdomen/GI
• Spine/Pelvis
• Head
• Chest/Thorax
• Musculoskeletal
• Upper and lower extremities

Preferred:

• Fluoroscopy studies
• Enema studies

Floating

Yes. The CT Technologist may be required to float within their scope to provide X-ray coverage.

Travelers may also be expected to float between nearby sister facilities when needed. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

Local Candidate Policy

Locals are NOT accepted.

The candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.

Time-Off / RTO

• RTO must be submitted up front
• Only one time-off request is allowed during the 13-week assignment
• Aya offer turnaround: 7 days
• Client offer turnaround: 7 days
• RTO requests exceeding 7 days may delay the offer and require client approval
• Post-submission/post-offer RTO may not be considered

Holiday Requirement

There is an additional holiday requirement in the compliance section:

Candidate must commit to working 3 of these 5 holidays:

• Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Eve
• New Year's Day

All holiday/scheduling requests must be disclosed at submission.

• Only 1 Providence facility can be submitted at a time
• Candidate must provide 2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
• References can include Charge RNs/Leads
• Candidate must disclose whether they have previously worked at a Providence facility as:
  • Permanent employee
  • Travel employee
  • Registry/per diem
• If yes, provide facility/location and dates worked
