Description

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in a very busy Emergency Department (ED).
Primarily care for ED boarder patients, including patients requiring:
- Medical-Surgical care
- Stepdown care
- ICU-level care
Monitor, assess, and manage patients while they are awaiting admission or transfer.
Provide safe, high-acuity nursing care in a Level I Trauma environment.
May be required to float to acute-care units based on facility needs.
Perform assessments, medication administration, monitoring, and documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Respond appropriately to emergency and rapidly changing patient conditions.

Requirements RN – Emergency Department experience Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar-sized Level I Trauma facility BLS – Required ACLS – Required TNCC – Required Strong ED/acute-care skills ED skills checklist – Required ED references – Required Resume must have no employment gaps Must be prepared to float to acute units when needed. Badge-appropriate photo required All required demographics must be loaded with the submission. 36 guaranteed hours/week 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts/week
