Shift: 12H Nights 12 hr Nights, EOW, First to Float
Unit Notes:11/3 ONLY ORIENTATION Unit: L&D, Well-Baby Nursery, Postpartum combined to form one unit # beds: 10 beds Certs: BLS, NRP, advanced fetal monitoring, NCC certified inpatient OB (RNC-OB) ADV FHM Ratios: L&D is usually 1 to 1-2, follow AWHONN guidelines, postpartum is 1 to 4 couplet care EMR: Cerner, Fetal heart monitor is fetal link Charge Nurse: yes, they will take a pt assignment Nurse Aides: no Weekend Requirement: every other Holidays: work into perm staff rotation Scrub Color: navy
Charting System: Cerner BSN Required: No License to Submit: Yes Trauma Level:3 Care Setting: Acute Division: Shift Notes:12 hr Nights, EOW, First to Float Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), BLS Certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
