Overview
Experienced RN needed for a Cath Lab assignment in a medium-sized hospital with a steady lab. The unit has 1 suite/lab and averages 3–4 cases per day.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wyoming
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 2 years of experience
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
- Experience with the Watchman device
- Experience with electrophysiology (EP) mapping and ablation
- Scrub experience in the EP lab sterile field
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel experience
- More than 1 year of experience
Clinical Duties
- Circulate
- Monitor
- Float to Cath Lab to assist in circulating and monitoring
Schedule
- Monday through Thursday, 0700–1730
- 4 ten-hour shifts currently
- Travelers are expected to attend Friday education
Call Requirements
- 3 call nights per month, 5p–7a
- 1 weekend of call, Friday through Sunday
- Holiday call rotation with a 4-person call team
- 20-minute call response time
Floating
- No floating to IR
Additional Details
- Permanent address must be at least 25 miles from the facility location
- One week of unit orientation after onboarding
- Scrub color/dress code is provided
