Travel RN – ICU 

Start Dates: October or November
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours: 36 or 48 hrs/week
Travelers: First-time travelers accepted

Unit / Assignment

• ICU Float Pool
• 24 beds per adult ICU
• Float to:
  • ICU
  • MS/Telemetry
  • PCU/Stepdown
  • Overflow units
  • Overflow PACU
• Adult & geriatric patients
• Weekend requirement: At least 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
• Floating is required
• No scheduling requests accommodated
• Must work 3 of 5 holidays

Must-Have Requirements

• 2+ years ICU experience
• 2+ years ICU experience at a 400+ bed facility for first-time travelers
• Active California RN license in hand at submission
  • No pending/temp license
• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• Epic experience
• PA line / Swan-Ganz experience – HARD STOP
• Must have performed Swan-Ganz recently; candidates without the required experience should not be submitted
• Must pass EKG exam on the first day of orientation
• Flu vaccine required – no exemptions/declinations

Strongly Preferred

• CCRN
• Transplant experience
• EVD experience
• CRRT experience
• Cardiac, neuro, and trauma ICU experience
• Large/comprehensive hospital experience
