Description
Shift: Day Shift
- 4x10s (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
- OR 5x8s (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Requirements
- Active NY RN License (or proof of application submitted)
- Minimum 2+ years of recent Cath Lab experience
- Recent experience within the last year
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
- Strong experience in:
- Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
- Left & Right Heart Catheterizations
- Swan-Ganz Monitoring
- Procedural Sedation Administration & Monitoring
- Dysrhythmia Interpretation & Management
- PCI Procedures
- Scrubbing & Circulating Procedures
Call Requirements
- Call Required
- Approximately 11-14 call days per schedule
- Weekday and rotating weekend call
- Response Time: Less than 30 minutes
- Holiday call rotation required
- 24-hour holiday call coverage
Important Facility Requirements
- Telemetry Exam Required during orientation
- Minimum passing score: 80%
- Two attempts only
- Failure after second attempt will result in contract cancellation
- Nurses are responsible for independently interpreting telemetry rhythms
