Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Windsor, VT

Facility: Mt. Ascutney Hospital & Health Center
Location: Windsor, VT
Start Date: 10/26/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Hours: 36 Hours Guaranteed (3x12s)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
On-Call: None

Requirements

1: 2+ years of current RRT experience
2: Active NBRC RRT Certification (CRTs will NOT be considered)
3: Vermont RRT License required
4: Cerner experience required
5: Ability to work independently with:

• Invasive & Non-Invasive Ventilators
• PAP Modalities
• High-Flow Oxygen
• ABGs
• Airway Management & Intubation Assistance
• PFTs (preferred)

Certifications Required

• NBRC RRT
• BLS (AHA)

Preferred

• Previous travel experience (6+ months preferred)
• Willingness to learn Home Sleep Testing and Pulmonary Rehab

Important Notes

• Must have own transportation
• No block scheduling or special schedule accommodations
• Maximum 5 days RTO; must be disclosed at submission
• Holiday coverage required if scheduled
• Critical Access Hospital | EMR: Cerner

Ideal Candidate: Independent RRT with strong ventilator and critical care experience who is comfortable working autonomously in a small critical access hospital setting.
