UNIT: ER
CLINICAL INTERVIEW
General Information:
Beds: 17 exam rooms and 4 bed obs unit
Experience? 18 months
First-time traveler? No
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
Charting System/Equipment:
EMR: Epic
IV Pumps: Alaris
Med Dispensing: Pyxis
Patient Types: Post-surgical, CVA, Sepsis, Pneumonia, Trauma, etc. Trauma Level III, MI, Pediatrics, Obstetric emergencies
Patient Ratios: 1:4
Skills required: Airway management and RSI knowledge, cardiac drips, codes, CVA and STEMI management
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: every other
Can we approve time off? Yes
Will they be on call? NO
Holiday Expectations: every other holiday
