Description
Travel Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) – Columbus, OH
Facility: Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
Start Date: 10/26/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | Monday-Friday | 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Sterile Processing experience (hard stop)
- Teaching Hospital experience required
- Level II Trauma experience required
- Medivator experience required
- Experience with decontamination, assembly, sterilization, HLD, endoscopes, robotics, Da Vinci, and OR instrumentation
- Censitrac experience preferred
- Epic experience preferred
Certifications
- CRCST (HSPA/IAHCSMM) or CBSPD required
Important Notes
- First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of experience
- Previous OSU employees and travelers are not eligible
- Candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
- Float between OSU locations as needed
- Only 1 RTO request allowed
Ideal Candidate
Experienced SPT comfortable working in a busy Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment, with strong skills in instrument processing, sterilization, endoscope reprocessing, and Medivator systems.
