Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical Float Pool position. The RN will provide care to adult and geriatric patients and float to assigned units based on staffing needs and demonstrated competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric Medical-Surgical patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize and manage dysrhythmias.
• Provide tracheostomy care and management.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy and interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and participate in rapid response activities.
• Float between units as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required — hard stop.
• BLS required.
• ACLS preferred in the job requirements; listed as required in the job overview. Confirm certification requirement before submission.
• Strong float experience required for candidates without prior travel experience; the job notes indicate 4 years of experience for this pathway.
• Epic charting experience.
• Experience with telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation/management.
• CPI preferred; facility does not offer CPI training.
• Pending licenses are not accepted.
