Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing Cath Lab or IR procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist with post-procedure recovery
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythm, and patient condition throughout procedures
• Assist physicians and the procedural team during interventions
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition or complications
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in Epic
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and procedural protocols
• Participate in required weekday and weekend on-call coverage
• Work within the appropriate scope of practice for Cath Lab or IR

Requirements

• 2+ years of Cath Lab or IR experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of lab experience – HARD STOP
• Sedation skills required
• Experience working in at least 2 lab rooms in a 250+ bed facility
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• NIHSS required
• CCI RCES or CCI RCIS required
• IR RN: Epic experience required
• Cath Lab RN: Epic experience highly preferred
• Pending licenses not accepted
• RTO must be included at the time of submission
• Must be available for required on-call schedule
