GHR Healthcare is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a travel assignment.
Position Details
- Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Shift: 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Contract Type: Travel RN
- Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Job Overview
The NICU RN will provide specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns in a high-acuity neonatal setting. This role requires strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and confidence caring for complex neonatal patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to premature and critically ill infants
- Monitor respiratory, cardiac, and neurological status
- Manage IV therapy, medications, and feeding support
- Assist with ventilators, CPAP, oxygen therapy, and other neonatal equipment
- Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with neonatologists and the interdisciplinary team
- Support and educate parents and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
- Recent NICU RN experience
- Active RN license for the assignment state
- Current BLS
- Current NRP
- Strong neonatal assessment and critical-care experience
- Previous travel experience preferred
