Schedule Requirements: Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge responsibilities based on unit needs.
Important: No straight shift schedules are available.

Job Summary

The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is responsible for providing safe, competent, and patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established standards, policies, and evidence-based practices. The RN demonstrates clinical expertise, service excellence, professional development, and a commitment to quality patient outcomes.

The Level II RN assumes an expanded professional role that may include serving as a Charge Nurse, Preceptor, and Committee Member, while supporting the clinical and operational needs of the unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients based on established clinical standards.
• Perform assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition requiring timely intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to coordinate care.
• Serve as a Charge Nurse, Preceptor, or committee member as assigned.
