GHR Healthcare is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a travel assignment.

Position Details

• Specialty: Labor & Delivery
• Shift: 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Contract Type: Travel RN
• Start Date: ASAP / Flexible

Job Overview
The L&D RN will provide care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. This role requires strong fetal monitoring skills, quick clinical decision-making, and the ability to support patients through both routine and high-risk deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor
• Interpret fetal heart rate tracings
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Support inductions, labor progression, and pain management
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Provide postpartum and newborn care as needed
• Educate and support patients and families
• Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, and the interdisciplinary team
• Complete accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active RN license for the assignment state
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS
• Current NRP
• Fetal monitoring experience required
• AWHONN certification preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
