Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – PICU/Pediatrics | Indianapolis, IN

Facility: Riley Hospital for Children – IU Health
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Start Date: 10/19/2026
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 4x12s (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

1: 2+ years of RRT experience
2: Children's Hospital experience within the last 3-5 years
3: PICU, NICU, or Pediatric Respiratory experience
4: L&D experience required
5: Indiana RRT License (or temporary license with application in process)
6: RRT credential (NBRC)

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
RRT (NBRC)
NRP
Indiana License

Preferred

PALS
Cerner experience
Level I Trauma experience

Key Skills

PICU/NICU respiratory care
Ventilator management
BiPAP/CPAP
Neonatal and pediatric airway management
Extubation and suctioning
Aerosol and medication delivery systems
Pediatric critical care

Floating

Must be willing to float between PICU, NICU, Pediatric Acute Care, and occasionally IU Health North Hospital.

Ideal Candidate

Experienced pediatric respiratory therapist with recent Children's Hospital, PICU, NICU, or pediatric critical care experience, comfortable working nights and every other weekend in a high-acuity pediatric setting.
