Description:

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Requirements:

Day Shift, 3 x 12s. 2 weekend shifts and one weekday shift (M - F). Rotating, no set days. 8am to 8:30pm during the weekend shifts and 7am to 730pm for the one weekday shift. Must have CRT/Fluoro, venipuncture, and BLS. Minimum of 3 years but will consider previous experience. Must have EPIC experience and will also do x-ray, OR and call. One weekend per month and at least 8 shifts during the week per month

Education and Work Experience:

• Associate?s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
• Basic Life Support (BLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA, if employee operates fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification: Required in CA, if employees performs venipuncture to administer contrast materials

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Venipuncture (IV) certification: Required
