Call Requirement: Yes – 3 call shifts per week; 3 single weekend call shifts per month; 30-minute callback requirement
Note: First-time travelers accepted. Holidays required as scheduled. Average daily census 4–8 with 2 Cath Lab rooms.

Position Overview:

Cath Lab RN providing care to adult patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterization, PCI, STEMI procedures, and other advanced cardiovascular interventions.

Job duties:

• Circulate and provide procedural nursing care during left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, and STEMI procedures.
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, and reversal agents.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage patients experiencing dysrhythmias during cardiac procedures.
• Monitor and manage patients undergoing cardiac interventions including IABP placement/removal and temporary pacing procedures.
• Provide post-procedure assessment and monitoring while maintaining infection prevention, radiation safety, and patient safety standards.

Requirements:
License: Active MD or Compact RN license at time of submission
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with critical care/ED experience required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS – AHA required
Other requirement: Required experience with sedation or circulating for left heart cath, STEMIs, PCI, right heart cath, pericardiocentesis, and temporary wires. 

Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when on call.
