Description

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Registered Nurse for an acute inpatient psychiatric assignment.

Experience: 2+ years of RN experience
Psych Experience: Acute inpatient psychiatric experience with complex disorders required
First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
EMR: Recent Epic experience within the past 12 months required
Weekends: Every other weekend
Float: Yes — within Behavioral Health, Peds ED, and other areas as needed

Required Certifications & License:

Active State RN License
BLS
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)

Required Clinical Skills/Experience:

Acute inpatient behavioral health/psychiatric care
Experience working in a locked psychiatric unit
Anxiety disorders
Depressive disorders
Personality disorders
Management of assaultive/violent behaviors
Complex psychiatric disorders
Safe patient management in a high-acuity behavioral health environment

Behavioral Health RN travel opening — 2+ years acute psych experience with complex disorders, locked-unit experience and recent Epic required; BLS/CPI, every-other-weekend, floating within BHS/Peds ED, and first-time travelers not accepted.
