License: Active NY RN license in hand – Required
Experience: Minimum 1 year
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Charting: EPIC experience required
Patient Ratio: 1:5

Unit Details
ED: 11-bed medical Emergency Department
Separate CPEP (psychiatric emergency) unit within the ED
CPEP evaluation area: 6 patients
Extended Observation area: 2 patients
CPEP staffed by RN, PCT, and Behavioral Health team
Patients are medically cleared before entering CPEP
CPEP patients may require labs and EKGs
Staff typically cover CPEP in 6-hour blocks on days/mids
12-hour CPEP coverage may be assigned on nights
Security available in the ED
