Description
Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Location: 47601 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48374
Start:Tentative | Duration: ~13 weeks
Schedule: 5 days/week, 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year Surgical Technologist experience
- Previous experience in Neuro (Spine & Brain) OR Ortho (Total Joints)
- AHA BLS required
- High School Diploma/GED required
Duties:
- Scrub general surgical procedures
- Prepare OR tables, instruments, and supplies
- Anticipate surgical team needs
- Check instruments/equipment before procedures
- Maintain sterile/infection-control standards
- Assist with patient preparation, transport, admission, transfer and discharge
- Maintain OR cleanliness and supply levels
- Respond to emergent situations
- May train/precept new Surgical Technologist I employees
