Location: Hagerstown, MD 21742
Start Date: 10/19/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Schedule: Every other weekend
Patient Ratio: 1:2

Position Overview:

Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with medical, surgical, trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neurological conditions in a high-acuity ICU setting.

Job duties:

• Manage critically ill patients requiring invasive monitoring, ventilatory support, and complex respiratory interventions.
• Titrate vasoactive and cardiac medications while continuously monitoring hemodynamic and cardiac status.
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, PICCs, chest tubes, and other critical care devices.
• Provide neurological assessments and care for patients with acute stroke, traumatic brain injury, EVDs, and post-neurosurgical conditions.
• Administer emergency medications, blood products, IV therapies, and continuous sedation/paralytic infusions while responding to clinical deterioration.

Requirements:
License: Active RN license; pending license accepted.
Experience: 3+ years preferred; 2+ years may be reviewed with strong experience; ICU experience required; first-time travelers not accepted.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
Other requirement: Epic required; must be comfortable floating to IMC; every other weekend required.
