Description
ED Inpatient Boarder RN | Hartford, CT
Start: 10/19/2026
Duration: 13 working weeks
Shift: 36 hrs/week | EOW/EOH
Specialty: ED Inpatient / Med-Surg / Observation Boarders
Requirements:
- 2+ years RN experience preferred
- Level I Trauma experience at an 800+ bed facility
- Stepdown, float pool, or comparable acute care experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS & Arrhythmia required
- EPIC proficiency is a must
- Must pass required specialty skills exams
- High-acuity, high-volume ED experience preferred
Additional:
- Assignments given in 4-hour blocks based on census/acuity
- Call-outs must be made up; makeup shifts do not receive OT
- RTO must be disclosed upfront and accommodate 36 hrs/week
- No standard block schedules
- No traveler bonuses
- Scrubs: Royal Blue (black bottoms allowed)
