- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
- Shift: Nights, 3x12s — 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- EMR: Epic — required
- Floating: Yes — within scope of practice as needed
- Experience: 2 years
- Weekend: Required — approximately 10 weekend shifts per contract
- Certifications: BLS required
- Unit: 30-bed Acute Care Medicine PCU with approximately a 1:4 patient ratio; adult/geriatric population
- Key Skills: Telemetry, MS/Tele, HFNC, chest tubes, feeding tubes, PICC/central line care, IV insulin, blood products, pre/post-hemodialysis care, oxygen/non-invasive airway management, wound care, and rapid response/code team support
- Call: None
- License: Virginia or Compact RN license must be in hand at submission
- Radius Rule: None — locals accepted at the same base rate
- RTO: Must be submitted upfront; no time off during the first week; up to one winter holiday off
