Wound Care RN – Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital

Schedule: 4×9-hour shifts
Shift: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
Guaranteed: 36 hrs/week
Weekends: None
Holidays: None
Charting: EPIC
Scrubs: Any color

Must-Haves

• 2+ years Wound Care experience OR wound care certification
• Wound & ostomy experience
• WI or Compact RN license
• AHA or ARC BLS
• EPIC experience – Required
• Associate Degree (AND) or equivalent required

Preferred

• Wound & Ostomy certification
• Extensive wound/ostomy clinic experience

Responsibilities

• Topical wound care
• Compression wraps
• Wound VACs
• Total contact casting
• Conservative sharp wound debridement
• Ostomy pouching system changes
• Peristomal skin breakdown treatment
• Inpatient and ED wound consultations

Float

May float to Howard Young Wound Clinic – Woodruff, WI.

Other Details

• Outpatient procedural department
• Approximately 8–9 visits/day per RN, with CNA assistance
• May be low-censused and placed on call
• Call-back minimum: 2 hours
• Closed-toe shoes required
• No fake nails or nail polish
• No weekend or holiday rotation
