Position Overview

Med City Plano is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the CT Scan department. The ideal candidate should have strong ER/trauma CT experience, including CTA and stroke imaging.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience with trauma experience – REQUIRED
• ARRT (CT) certification – REQUIRED
• Texas Radiologic Technologist license – REQUIRED
• BLS – REQUIRED
• Experience performing ER CT and trauma imaging
• Experience with CTA
• Experience with stroke imaging

Equipment & Systems

• GE 64-slice CT
• Meditech documentation system

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency CT examinations.
• Perform ER and trauma CT studies.
• Perform CTA and stroke-related CT imaging.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately.
• Ensure image quality and patient safety.
• Follow radiation safety and infection-control procedures.
• Document procedures accurately in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
• Float to other areas as needed according to facility policy.

Schedule

• Night shift
• 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours/week
• No call
• Weekend requirements as scheduled by the department.

• CT Tech scrub color: Grey
• Hair should be clean, neat, and professionally maintained.
• Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed.
• Visible body art should be covered whenever possible.
• Visible piercings other than earrings are not permitted.
