• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Call: Every 3rd evening and every 3rd weekend
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend call
• Holiday: Must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• EMR: Epic
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Patient Population / Workload

• Cases: Approximately 25 cases/day
• Patient Type: Vascular procedures
• Primary Duties: Scrub, Circulate, Monitor
• Call Team: One team covers both facilities, ILH and IMMC
• Most emergencies are at IMMC, which is Level I Trauma

Required Experience

• 12 months of vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center
• Cardiac Cath Lab / CCL experience in a hospital or medical center
• Interventional vascular / IR lab experience
• Scrub experience
• Circulate experience
• Monitor experience
• Current or previous experience supporting Operating Room procedures
• Peripheral vascular experience

Preferred Experience

• Level I Trauma experience
• ARRT(CI) or ARRT(VI)
• Iowa Radiology license

Required Credentials

• Active ARRT(R)
• RCIS/CCI or ARRT documentation
• BLS through AHA or American Red Cross preferred
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; candidates without an active license may be considered, with issuance potentially taking 48 hours to 4 weeks
