Travel CT Technologist — Sinai, Milwaukee
Role: CT Technologist
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Call: No
First-time travelers: Yes, provided they have trauma experience
Experience: 2+ years
Facility / Clinical Setting
- Trauma: Level IV Trauma Center
- NICU: Level III
- Stroke: Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Type: Teaching hospital
- Beds: Approximately 228
- CT suites: 2
- Average daily census: Around 100
- Patient population: Young adults through geriatric
- Cases: General CT, stroke, oncology, and broad community-hospital cases
Requirements
- BLS
- ARRT (CT)
- Wisconsin license
- Experience with the listed patient populations and CT cases
- Trauma experience is important for first-time travelers
Department Support
- 3 CT techs per shift
- Lead Tech
- Transporter
- Radiologist on-site during the day; off-site at night
- Daytime manager
- Rapid Response / Code Team
- RT reportedly available 24/7
Equipment / Systems
- EMR: Epic
- Medication dispensing: Pyxis
- PACS: McKesson
- CT equipment: Canon 80-slice and GE 40-slice
Scheduling
- Weekend rotation: Depends on the requisition
- RTO: Requires manager approval
- Call: None
- Holidays: Worked if they fall on your regularly scheduled days
- Schedule: Lead Tech creates the schedule
- Orientation: NEO + approximately 2–3 department orientation shifts
- Floating: None indicated
