Job Description
Chesapeake Regional Healthcare is located in the beautiful Coastal Virginia region, just minutes from Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Chesapeake is an outdoor lover?s paradise, offering hiking trails for all experience levels and more than 20 waterways to explore.
Assignment Details
Pharmacist Inpatient Setting
Schedule: Shift: 5x8's schedule, weekdays, some weekends (every 3rd weekend)
Shifts times: Day shifts: 0630 ? 1500, 0730 ? 1600, 0900-1730, 1000 ? 1830
Minimum Requirements
Active Virginia Pharmacist license in hand at the time of submission (firm requirement)
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
PharmD and Registered Pharmacist (RPh) credentials required
Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
Previous travel experience preferred
Epic proficiency is required (no exceptions)

IV admixture/IV pharmacy experience
Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA)
Antibiotic management
Drug interaction review
Medication order entry
Medication order verification
