Description

Surgical Tech: BLS; no national certification required, only graduation from an accredited program

Patient Types:

o All ages – as young as 12 months

o Patients will be recovered in the same room as their Pre-Op – no true PACU within facility

o Lower acuity/same day surgical cases, to include but not limited to:

Plastics –

● Facelift, Endoscopic Brow Lift, Blepharoplasty

ENDO

● EGD/Colonoscopies, Sigmoidoscopy, Halo Procedure, Bravo Procedure

● no pill cams or ERCP/Bronchoscopy

Interventional Pain Management -

● Epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablations, cervical lumbar injections

General/Urology -

● General: hernia repair, appendectomies, laparoscopies

● Urology: Vasectomies

No Ortho

● Primarily hand but if floating to other sites could see arthroscopies
